    Very powerful post and very timely.

    Worthwhile examining our own (British Government's) treatment of Alan Turing - an individual instrumental in cracking the German Enigma codes, hastening the end of the Second World War and bringing an end to the Nazi regime. Alan Turing was chemically castrated in 1952 for the then 'crime' of being homosexual.
